The atmosphere is great here. I love the walls, contrary to other reviewers opinions. The stage is a great size and they offer adequate seating. Their staff can be a bit slow, especially when delivering your food, which is decent at best. But who goes to venues for the food anyway? They treat the bands respectfully and their sound guy is great.

This place is great! Music is loud and the people are sweet. Drinks are reasonably priced, tickets are very reasonably priced, and the vibe is awesome. The bands that come play are super sweet, I got to meet my favorite band (Tallah), as well as the other 2 awesome bands that played(Darker than fiction and Enox). I got them all to sign our CDs. This place is nice because youre usually able to meet the bands after the show, and sometimes before when theyre selling their merch. Love this place and will be back.

Excellent stage lighting and sound. Jenny is a great bartender and a slamming hottest to boot. Haha. Great staff. We always have fun when we play there.

If you are looking for an old fashioned club environment, this is the place! In your face, up front, elbow to elbow contact with your fellow music afficianados. Atmosphere is perfect for grassroots music, and the musicians feel comfortable enough to wander around the facility and rub elbows with the fans. The graffiti on the walls tells the story of many of the acts that have performed here, and it is VERY impressive as a resume to the talent that has played at The Music Factory. Bar has very reasonable prices! Sound issues were prevalent, but tolerable, bathrooms were a bit sketchy, and parking could get tricky with a very large crowd, but, again- if you love listening to live music in a club setting, this place is awesome!

Nice little venue to watch bands perform and have drinks. Had a good time out there.

On Friday, we watched our friends play in their band, Thrill Pushers, at the Music Factory and it was an awesome time!! Drinks are expensive. They do not serve food and the location is in an iffy part of Battle Creek. However, it was super fun and I like how they built an outside patio area where you can take your drinks and smoke and then come right back in. The walls and ceiling are covered with band names and I heard in a couple weeks, Afroman will be there. Overall it was a great time! We ended up using a Lyft to get dropped off at a local hotel for the night and came back to our truck still in the parking lot untouched which was a nice way to end the adventure. :)

If I could have left zero stars, I would have. The Gore Pig concert was cancelled at the end of June. We purchased tickets ahead of time. We still havent gotten our $40 refund. I have emailed Jeff and heard nothing. I have tried to call them 4x during their listed hours, but their phone is never accepting calls. If you have to purchase tickets ahead of time, I cannot recommend this venue.

Think of The Machine Shop, but smaller. For such a small venue they get some great bands coming through. It has a very cool rock and roll club feel with logos from the bands that have played there scrawled all around the black chalkboard walls and ceiling. One downside is very limited parking, so be prepared to park on the street and walk. There is also no coat check, so get ready to shiver while waiting in line for winter shows.

I feel awful for the artists who played at TJs Fall Brawl. The poster clearly says doors 6PM show 7PM. Every artist was told this. Door guy was outside walking his dog at 6:15, 7:00 comes around and he starts asking for door fees. Im already inside, so I paid my door fee and was asked how I got in because doors are at 6 central, but 7 eastern. I feel bad for Misery Lane, they started playing at 7 like they were supposed to just to get told they started early. It then later devolved into well, the promoter isnt here, so the sound guy is running it, so there is no time schedule I guess according to one of the musicians playing. Bartenders dont ID you, but theyll periodically walk around and ask if youd like another one. But be careful, because IM NOT LYING TO YOU when I say that if you answer yes and have EVEN A SWIG left in your current drink, theyll tell you finish that one first, and then walk away. I feel awful for the artists who played at TJs Fall Brawl, they got a bum deal. WHERE ARE YOU AT BATTLE CREEK? Umm, in the central time zone, apparently. Edit: The gentleman I gave money to wasnt even actually watching the door. Im not sure who I gave money to, anymore.
